Welcome to Woodstock. Woodstock is a small town about 8 miles North of Oxford which in turn is 60 miles from London, Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon is a little further on as well as the lovely area known as the Cotswolds. The 9th Duke of Marlborough married the USA Railroad heiress, Consuelo Vanderbuilt in 1895 at Saint Thomas Church, New York city. Since that time Woodstock and Blenheim Palace has welcomed many visitors from the USA. Britain's great World War 2 leader, Winston Churchill was born at Blenheim, the room where he was born has been preserved. We look forward to welcoming you to our town of Woodstock.
